Going Solar with SolarCorp
Free Estimate & Consultation (1st Week)
Your experience all starts with an absolutely free, zero obligation estimate and optional in-home consultation. Your quote will include a customized system design, 3D rendering showing the panels on your home, and an energy savings estimate.
System Design & Site Audit (1st Week)
After viewing your initial design and speaking to your dedicated solar experience manager, you can schedule your free site audit and final system design. One of our solar experts will pay a short visit to your home, taking measurements on your rooftop and confirming details about your existing electrical service. When the necessary information has been obtained a final system design can be delivered to you.
Contract Signing (1st Week)
Once you receive your final system design, it’s time to sign your Solar Service Agreement. This step may be different for some homeowners depending on the solar plan they choose, however, on the OwnIt plan, a 10% deposit is usually due upon signing of this agreement.
Permitting & Approvals (4-6 Weeks)
With the agreement signed SolarCorp gets hard to work obtaining the necessary permits for your system. The cost is included in your system price and we handle everything.
Installation (1-3 Days)
Once permits are granted it’s time to install your new system. A team of professional installers and certified electricians will arrive at your home in the morning. They will require access to your rooftop, utility power meter, and to your main electrical service panel. Installation is usually completed in 1-3 days, dependent upon the size of your system.
Power On! (Up to 2 Weeks)
With your system installed, it’s almost time to start enjoying your savings and helping the environment, but first, we’ll need to have the necessary inspections and utility hookup which can take up to 2 weeks. After the inspections are all done and your bi-directional meter has been installed by the utility, we’ll energize your system.
At SolarCorp, you won’t find a single person who works in ‘sales’. Instead, all of our customers are provided a dedicated solar experience manager who is not paid commission and is there only to answer any questions and oversee the project from start to finish.
Our products are carefully curated to ensure they meet our industry-leading quality standards. All solar panels sold by SolarCorp are assembled in Canada and backed by a minimum 25-year power output warranty.
